The ambition behind this collection is to approach the garment as a fully realized work of art, creating image-garments whose silhouettes command attention through visual presence, surface texture, and volume.

This process stems from an intuitive, highly tactile relationship with textiles. I work the material in layers, building up strata and rough textures to capture the trace of the hand and the physical density of a painted canvas.

This research is rooted in the study of historical costume, focusing specifically on architectural construction and generous ornamentation. In these period pieces, embellishment is never a mere backdrop; it is structural. By confronting this historical preciousness with a raw material treatment, the collection aims to give the garment the raw power and intensity of an embodied painting.
